Vossen World Tour: Toronto

It’s always great to witness first hand the influence the Vossen brand carries all over the world. We continuously strive to raise the bar with each tour stop and the Vossen World Tour Toronto was truly epic.

Toronto is the largest city in Canada and remains one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world with a huge and proud network of automobile enthusiasts. When our team landed from Miami, we headed straight to the amazing Ertefa car meet where a huge Vossen section was a warm welcome while showing domination. Next we met up with the incredibly hospitable JRP, our official Toronto distributor. The CN Tower, Toronto’s tallest landmark, towered over us at the Intercontinental Downtown and was definitely a sight to see in the brisk night.

For the first time, the crew from Vossen was present at Importfest 2013, Canada’s biggest and baddest car show. The renowned event exceeded all expectations as we got the chance to show off our fresh new gear and products while giving away a ton of Vossen swag which created tremendous excitement. The Jaro sisters made an appearance as well with us which blew attendees away. Did we mention Niagara Falls? Next level.

Toronto kept us busy on this tour. From the Ertefa meet to Importfest, there was so much to see and do on the daily. As expected, we got to shoot some great cars. The BMW 7 series, for one, was a sight, wrapped in Matte Satin Pearl and hooked up by the good people at Restyle It. Our friends at Pfaff Tuning provided some amazing Audi’s, as well. Each was tuned on Unitronic stage 1 and AWE tuning exhausts. Pfaff Tuning, which doubles as a Mclaren dealership, kept our team thoroughly impressed. Their Luxury Series was super clean and the dealership itself was fantastic. Another standout masterpiece: the E63 AMG slammed on CV5's Graphite Machined, with a Brabus Carbon Fiber Lip/Side Skirts and rear diffuser.

The second installment of our Toronto series has our team flooding the streets and making the Vossen presence felt everywhere. Along with our Importfest crew, we took to the crowded, touristy areas in an effort to capture peoples’ responses to the 370Z. Needless to say, most, from young to old, were literally stopping in their tracks. Cameras flashed and jaws dropped at the sight of this amazing industrial design. Later we rolled deep through the city, the thundering sounds of Niagara Falls in the background, with four cars done by Restyle It in tow: the 370Z (mellow yellow), the Red Chrome M6, a Matte White Pearl C350, and the Chameleon G35 Coupe. One thing about Toronto is that there are so many great locations to shoot. It truly is a lively city with a lot to see and do.

Importfest, as we've stated, was beyond great. The automobile culture in Toronto is so deeply rooted and the shows never disappoint. We had the chance to talk with Basit Mirza, a well respected figure on the scene, who started Importfest in 2001. He shows off his 2004 BMW 645. This red beauty is supercharged with ESS Tuning and sits on Vossen CV5's, silver polished, to give it that clean, sleek look.

We also highlighted Harvin Minhas, member of the Importfest street team, and the 370z. Mellow Yellow, as the car's been dubbed, sits on CV1's and watching it own the road is like nothing you've ever seen. It inspires double takes galore, no matter who or what is around. Once again, shout out to Restyle It for their excellent work.

So many unbelievable cars were on display at Importfest. The internationally revered event drew in beautiful people and supporters from everywhere. Crowds gathered to witness flawless women and, of course, equally flawless automobiles. Our team was welcomed with cheers and props from dedicated fans and supporters (many of them sporting Vossen apparrel). We had the opportunity to show off some of our newest products and give away tons of swag to excited attendees. Importfest, known as Canada’s biggest and baddest car show, did not disappoint at all. From beginning to end, the energy was on high, with so much going on at every turn. It’s no wonder the event is raved about on so many levels. If you proudly rep Vossen and are a die-hard car enthusiast, we encourage you to plan on being there next year. Gather some friends and start organizing. You can take our word for it.
